Every single pack of BCC Steeped Campfire Coffee is fully compostable – from the outside packaging, the coffee bag, the string, the tag… ALL OF IT! There are no staples, no glues, nothing fake in this product. The pouch is made from plant-based and bio-based materials and it may in fact make a great fire starting material too.
Rip open a Campfire Coffee pouch and immediately experience the aroma from a nitro flushed pouch of fresh roasted coffee. Drop that bag into your favorite mug which will certainly be one from the reward kits and pour 8 ounces of water over the bag. Use the tag to dunk it for 15-30 seconds. Some of my personal EDC coffee hacks are to stop into a gas station/hotel lobby etc. and use the hot water function in the drink section or microwave a cup of water... then all you have to do is steep your coffee like you would tea.
But really, you don't even need that! If you can spare a few hours (or overnight) to wait you can just cold brew it! Put a packet or 2 into a Nalgene or other water bottle and Shablam! wake up to some cold brew!

I love the campfire original but recently tried the castaway and my wife and I both agree it’s the BEST coffee we have ever had. Absolutely Delicious and smooth as can be. My only wish is that the Castaway will be offered in single serve packs also to take camping.
This is a perfect way to make coffee in the back country. There’s no need for instant coffee anymore.
